To create bridal bouquets, various combinations of flowers are used. If you like to know how to make a bridal bouquet, detailed below are the procedures in making an attractive and unique bouquet.

Materials Needed

To make a beautiful bouquet, you need pearl sprays, fresh flowers, greenery and artificial flowers. In addition to this, you need a large bowl filled with tap water, wide silk ribbon that measures two inches, scissors, two-inch wide satin ribbon, tulle ribbon and lace trims. As soon as you get all the needed materials, you can proceed with the steps.

Procedures

The first step in this project is to search the Internet, magazines and other publications about the latest designs of bridal bouquets. Plan a design and determine the flowers that will be used for the bouquet. It is important that the flowers in the bouquet complement the motif of the event. In addition, do not forget to include the favorite flowers of the bride in the arrangement.

After planning the design of the arrangement, go to the local florist and order the flowers that will be used. It is also important to order greenery and filler flowers several weeks before the event. After ordering the flowers, buy a boquet holder. Check if the holder has a floral foam. Put the holder in an upside down position on a bowl with water. Hold the handle and slowly sink the holder and let the foam be saturated. Remove from water. Wait until the exterior of the holder dries.

Arrange the filler and the flowers from the bottom of the holder to the top. When you cut the stem, make sure that it is 1 ½ to 2 inches below the holder’s foam. To improve the appearance of the bouquet, insert greenery with different lengths. You can use fern or ivy because the greenery looks good when included in a bridal bouquet. Trim the greenery if needed to create a symmetrical appearance. Use the ribbon to make a bow at the handle of the bouquet. Make sure that the color of the ribbon complements the motif.

Additional Tips

It is best that you create the bouquet the day before the wedding so that the flowers are still fresh. Keep the flowers cool and moist by spraying water from time to time.
