Dress-up your couches and chairs with new fabric covers. There are several couch and seat covers that are ready-made and these come in different prints and fabrics.

Kitchen

One of the first things that you need to do to improve the look of your kitchen is to organize everything. If your cupboards are overflowing, you can get decorative storage boxes that you can stack-up on your kitchen corner and store everything neatly.

Repaint your kitchen cabinets or apply a fresh coat of varnish to give make them look brand new. You should also replace squeaky hinges and broken handles. These items are available in any home depot or hardware store.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms are your private sanctuary hence; you should always feel relaxed and comfortable here. If you would like to dress-up your walls, you can likewise repaint, hang wall arts or put in wall decals; much like how you dressed-up your living room walls.

Change your beddings. You can get new beddings that are of a completely different look from all the others that you’ve been using so far. These will make you feel as if you’re sleeping on a new bed.

Change your pillows. If your pillows have seen better days, throw them out and get new ones.

Put in new curtains. If you would like matching curtains and beddings, you can get flat sheets of similar designs and turn these into your new curtains. You can also use the same flat sheet designs for your seat cover in the bedroom.
